On November 14th, at 4.00 pm CET (Bruxelles time), it will be broadcasted online the presentation of the eBook from the project CLASH! When classic and contemporary dance collide and new forms emerge – promoted by Balletto di Roma (Italy) and co-founded by Creative Europe Program of the European Union (Grant Agreement n. 2018-2031/001- 001). The event will see a round table with the authors Vito di Bernardi, Letizia Gioia Monda and Luca Ruzza, a team of researchers from the Sapienza University of Rome, project partner responsible for the articulation of the tacit knowledge from dance practice and its translation into a language accessible to a wide audience. They will illustrate how the eBook has been developed to be an interdisciplinary product to show important results of the investigations performed in the last two years by the five dance companies involved in the initiative: Balletto di Roma (IT), Polski Teatr Tanca (PL), 420PEOPLE (CZ), Derida Dance Center (BG); Companhia De Dança de Almada (PT).
The presentation, introduced by Francesca Magnini (artistic director of Balletto di Roma), will see the interventions of representatives of two CLASH! project partners:
Ana Macara, from Companhia De Dança de Almada, who will talk about the possible application of the eBook in dance education and audience development strategies.
Atanas Maev, from Derida Dance Center/Art Link Foundation, will point on the opportunities to use this digital tool to support cultural diplomacy in the dance field.
